I have been to the outskirts of DesMoine. Stayed there back in 1999 for a night before doing a tour of the bridges of Madison County. My grandmother was born in Winterset. Bucket list of items ‘to do’ is revisit and have my much better camera in hand.

Winterset has changed alot over the years. Area is worth a visit in the fall for sure..

Pretty. I think every town and city is now adding their name on a building somewhere in their town.

Are they? I might have to go looking. I think DSM added a few more buildings with murials too.
